What the app sends over the internet

This page describes, from the app’s code, every exchange with our servers. Your documents are never part of it.

What is never sent

Your PDFs, their pages and their content.
The names and folders of your files.
The passwords you put on your documents.
Your client password sheets and your local vault.
Text recognized by OCR, your signatures and your watermarks.

What is sent, and why

You sign in

What is sent: Your username or email and your password; a device identifier drawn at random at install; the platform (Windows, macOS or Android); the app version.
Why: To check your subscription and apply the one-active-device-per-platform rule.

The app keeps your session open

What is sent: A session token, nothing else.
Why: To renew the subscription check, which then lets you work offline for up to 14 days.

You sign out

What is sent: The session token.
Why: To cancel it on our servers.

You create an account, change or reset your password, delete your account

What is sent: What you type in that form.
Why: To carry out the operation you asked for.

You open your account from the app

What is sent: The name of the page you asked for (subscription, team, help).
Why: To open that page in your browser, already signed in.

What the app does not contain

No usage analytics, no automatic crash reports, no ads. The app does not contact any update server: you download new versions from our website.

The website counts visits without cookies or personal data. Audience and advertising measurement only loads with your consent. The details are in the privacy policy.
